Intruder Spikes Uk strongly receommends you display warning signs prominently along the boundry.

You have a duty of care even to protect intruders from harm under the occupiers liability act 1984.

Displaying them can also be adeterrent to an opportinest intruder.

How do you pack fence spikes for shipping?

Our Fence spikes are secured with a wooden protection board then packed in a strong shipping box.

Please be careful when opening the box. Wear heavy duty safety gloves . We suggest opening the box on the floor to avoid the risk assosciated with them falling and injuring you.

If you slip or drop them, try to resist the urge to catch them. Let them fall.

How do I work out how many I need?

The fence spikes are 1.2 meters in length

To work out how many you need, measure the area to protect in meters then divide by 1.2.

A 12 meter wall for example would require 10 lengths (12/1.2=10).

Can Intruder Spikes be cut to size?

Fence spikes can be cut to size.

Simply measure up the size and cut. We recommend using an agle grinder with metal blade but a hacksaw could also be used.

What are your spikes made of?

The spikes are make from strong steel construction.

What does galvanised mean?

Galvanizing or galvanisingis a post manufacture treatment that is applied to the spikes.

This helps to protect them from rust and corrosion.

Are Intruder Spikes easy to install?

Our spikes can easily be fitted by any DIY enthusiast.

We recommend using a washer and screw to fix throught the pre-drilled holes along the length of the fence spike.

Do I need to paint my anti climb spikes?

Our fence spikes do not need to be painted.

We have 2 main finishes, galvanised or powder coated. Both coverings will protect the spikes from corrosion. It is therefore not necessary to paint them but they could be painted if you wish.
